·         Climbers $25.16 per hour + allowances

·         EWP & Chipper Operators $23.30 per hour + allowances

Active Tree Services is the leading Vegetation Management Company operating in all states and territories with over 600 full time employees. We are now looking to hire qualified Climbers, EWP operators and Chipper Operators clearing vegetation around powerlines.

To be considered for the role you must have the following:

  • OH&S White card
  • First Aid
  • MR Truck licence

Previous vegetation experience including EWP ticket, Level 2 Chainsaw, climbing certificate and aerial rescue and powerline clearing would be viewed favourably however full training will be provided.  Sub-contractors are also encouraged to apply.

Supervisor - Darwin

The work involves maintaining vegetation around electrical powerlines, roads and other infrastructure for Local Government Authorities.
 
We have a Darwin based position available for a person who has previous supervisory experience and can demonstrate competence in the following areas
  • Planning and organisation
  • Understanding of contractual obligations 
  • People management
  • Customer relationship management
  • Productivity improvement initiatives
  • Implementing safe work practices

Some previous vegetation experience is required with Arboricultural / Horticultural qualifications preferable. Additional training provided for the right candidate. A current driver’s license (preferably MR) is essential.

 Revenue Accountant - Head Office

In this newly created role you will contribute to the development and continuous improvement of process, and be responsible for providing accurate and timely reporting for all revenue earned. This is not simply a transactional role; however there are routine tasks to be completed.

Specific duties will include:
  • Own the Centralised Invoicing and AR function
  • Preparation of standard client revenue analysis report  
  • Proposal of weekly invoices and related documentation ready for processing
  • Acting as point of contact for our customer
  • Actively managing the AR function, chasing outstanding debt and handling issue in relation to outstanding invoices


A qualified accountant, you will have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally, have a strength with MS Excel and a proven ability to review and re-engineer processes.
